A day with Wilbur Robinson is a 1990 children's children's book (slightly expanded for reissue in 2006) written and illustrated by William Joyce. An adaptation film called Meet the Robinsons was released by Walt Disney Pictures in 2007 in the United States.

A day with Wilbur Robinson follows the story of a boy visiting an unusual family and their home. While spending the day at Robinson's household, Wilbur's best friend joins in the quest for dentures of lost Grandpa Robinson and meets a strange relative after the other.

Movie adaptation
Walt Disney Animation Studios was released on March 30, 2007, an adaptation of the 3-D computer animated film Meet The Robinsons, directed by Stephen J. Anderson.
Differences from book
The film contains scenes in the second half that resemble the book flow, while the rest of the story is a complete departure from the book. Lewis and Wilbur's typical hairstyle really fit the book, as well as the general physical characteristics of other Robinson characters. The exception is Mr. Robinson, because in the movie, he is Lewis's future version and does not appear until later, whereas in the book he is seen to have black hair and appears much earlier. In a movie Wilbur relationship with Lewis is revealed to surpass that of his best friend. Because the film leaps forward about thirty years from a scientific science scene and beyond, Lewis turns out to be Wilbur's father.
In the film, Lewis's primary school was named as a tribute to the author, William Joyce. It turned to Joyce Williams Elementary School.
