Flash Forward is the Disney Channel Original Series produced in Canada for preteens and teens that aired on Disney Channel and ABC from 1995 to 1997. The series aired as a limited-run preview episode on The Disney Channel from December 14, 1995 to January 6, 1996. Starting on September 14, 1996, the series aired as a special national-run preview on ABC's Saturday morning lineup. On January 1, 1997, the series joins the Disney Channel with a 5-hour marathon, 10-episode New Year, and on January 5th, the series moves to its regular time slot on Saturdays and Sundays.
The show sees the lives of two friends and neighbors from birth, Tucker and Rebecca, and their respective adventures as they travel through an eighth-grade world. The show is produced by Atlantis Films in collaboration with Disney Channel and Buena Vista International, Inc. Flash Forward is known as the first branded series under the Disney Channel Original Series label.

Tuck James
Tucker "Tuck" James (Ben Foster) is a 13-year-old teenager who just started eighth grade and sees it as a life-changing event. Tucker faces the flurry of adolescent life with his distinctive humor and rebounds from offenses perpetrated by intruders and sometimes annoying parents by seeking entertainment in his friendship with Miles. She and Becca have been good friends since they were born and remain committed to each other with slim and slim.

Becca Fisher
Rebecca "Becca" Fisher (Jewel Staite), also 13, is Tucker's most confused friend and suffers the same disappointment with the eighth grade. His new best friend is Christine, someone Becca sees as an easier person than Tucker to tell about things that start to matter (ie boys). Becca also faces taunts from her ruling and trapped sister, Ellen and brings a secret crush on local pizza maker, Gooch.

Miles Vaughn
Miles (Theodore Borders) is Tucker's new friend and begins his eighth year as a regular friend. He often acts as a voice of reason in his relationship with Tucker, often bringing Tucker back to the ground when Tucker allows his flight to get better from him.
Chris Harrison
Christine "Chris" Harrison (Asia Vieira) is Becca's new friend and is often in the midst of Becca's plans and problems. He serves as a source of friendship and most importantly a listener, a person Becca can vent during their ever-changing world. Christine is the owner named Steve, a dog.
Horace James
Horace (Ricky Mabe) is Tucker's long-suffering brother. He's often a joke and a joke of Tucker, but greatly respects his older brother. He is known for capturing everything on his video camera, occasionally using recordings for his benefit as extortion against Tucker. He is a very annoying little brother.
Ellen Fisher
Played by Rachel Blanchard (ep. 1-4) and Robin BrÃÆ'Â »lÃÆ'Â ©. Ellen is Becca's eldest brother who dominates and is selfish. She has no real respect for anyone other than herself and (in a way) her boyfriend Ryan. Ellen is often a source of pain and discomfort for her sister.
