George Merchant (May 13, 1926 - August 16, 2015) is a Scottish footballer, playing for Dundee and Falkirk. The Merchant scored one of his goals when Falkirk won the 1957 Scottish Cup Final. After retiring as a footballer, he became a soccer coach at Dunfermline Athletic and set up a printing business.
On August 16, 2015, Merchant died at a nursing home in Carnoustie.
