George Arthur Victor Duckworth (January 3, 1901 - November 14, 1986), known as Arthur Duckworth , is a British Conservative Party politician.
He was elected MP for Shrewsbury in the 1929 elections. He was re-elected in 1931 and 1935, and occupied that seat until he retired from the House of Representatives in the 1945 elections.
In 1936, he won the seventh place in a vote for a private member's bill, and proposed to submit a Draft Law and Surgery (Ad).
He announced in April 1945 that he would not stand again in the next election.

Personal life
Duckworth married Alice Frances Hammond, the fifth-generation descendant of Cornelius Vanderbilt, in March 1927. The couple divorced in February 1945, on the grounds of his wife's adultery in New York.
