The mission of Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF) is to reveal leadership through services, relationships and actions. STLF is a non-profit organization involved in leadership that serves primarily to carry out its mission through cross-country travel services called Paid Tour. The Pay It Forward Tour STLF serves students at the college, secondary, and high school levels. STLF's main objective is to provide leadership experience and encourage students to be a catalyst for positive change in their own lives, schools and communities.

STLF was founded in September 2003 at the University of Minnesota by four new students of Carlson School of Management. First StLF First Pay-out Tour came out in March 2004. Since then, 748 Pay It Forward Tours has come out with 28,975 Participants. The STLF National Office is headquartered in Minneapolis, with a student-led College College on 30 campuses and a partnership program with many high schools and secondary schools stretching across the country. STLF Program
The Pay It Forward Tour is a multi-day volunteer journey focused on service, education, and reflection. Student groups travel by bus charter across the country and become volunteers in the new city every day. In addition to Pay Tour, Leadership Training and Summer Leadership Camp is a program that supports Tour Pay. Through these programs, STLF serves thousands of college students, high schools, and high schools from various demographics every year.
Each STLF trip is planned and facilitated by the student leadership of the volunteers. Three to five people work together in a joint leadership model called the Core Model. The Core Model allows individuals involved to work toward a common goal or an end goal. The "core" works together and shares the surrounding areas, while choosing into individual strengths and areas of role-specific responsibility.
STLF Achievement
The Philanthropic Conference Involved gave the 2008 Social Entrepreneurship STLF Cup - an honor that recognizes Minnesota's principal innovator for social change. TIME Magazine uses the STLF and the Pay it Forward Tour as an example in # 2 Way to Serve America at '21 Ways to Serve America. 'In 2010, STLF was recognized as the first organization to complete the Accountability Wizard review featuring the new Board Accountability Standards.
