Tesco Mobile Limited (trading like Tesco Mobile ) is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in the UK, Ireland, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic. It is operated by Tesco, using O2 network as its operator except in Hungary, where its network operators are Vodafone and Ireland, where its network operators are Three Ireland.
Supported network services in the UK: Voicemail, Call Waiting.
Network services are not supported in the UK: Visual voice mail, Conference calling, and Call Forwarding (also redirects).
On January 30, 2014, Tesco Mobile began offering 4G services to Pay Monthly and Sim Only customers at no additional cost, extending the service to Pay As You Go customers on July 24, 2014.
The Tesco Mobile Customer Care service is contracted out to O2 Communications Ltd in Bury, Greater Manchester. Devices Technical support services are contracted out to LucidCX based in Bristol. Device repair services are contracted to A Novo UK Ltd.

On December 19, 2006, Tesco Ireland announced that it would enter into a joint venture with O 2 Ireland to offer mobile telecommunication services. This service, which is the second MVNO in Ireland (Dead 3 Cellular that has been the first), uses network O 2 but operates separately. This has been allocated area code 089 . Like Tesco's mobile services from the United Kingdom, Tesco Mobile has been branded. The network began operations in 2007. Tesco Mobile has 375,000 subscribers in Ireland (as of August 8, 2017).
In March 2015, after it was announced that Three had successfully purchased the O2, it was announced that the O2 Ireland network would be dead and that the O2 Websites/Stores and Network would merge into the Three Ireland. As a result, Tesco Mobile Ireland moved from MVNO on O2 Network to MVNO on Three Networks. However, Tesco Mobile customers can still access O2 Masts, which means that they can not use 4G, or increase 3G coverage that can be made by Three customers.
Hungarian
Tesco Mobile Hungary will be a 50:50 joint venture, providing Tesco Mobile branded services in Hungary through Tesco and online stores, using Vodafone technology and networks. The service ends in April 2016, and the service is taken over by Vodafone.
Slovakia
At O 2 December 2009, Tesco Stores SR announced that it will enter into a joint venture with TelefÃÆ'ónica Slovakia to offer mobile telecommunication services. The service, which is the second MVNO of Slovakia (the naymobile has become the first), uses the network O 2 but operates separately.
Czech Republic
In May 2013, Tesco Stores? R a.s. announced that it will enter into a joint venture with TelefÃÆ'ónica the Czech Republic to offer mobile telecommunication services. The service, using the network << sub> 2 but operates separately.
