Plot

Olivia (Sonya Walger) and Charlie (Lennon Wynn) are on the beach, deciding to avoid whatever future is in store for them; Lloyd (Jack Davenport) meets him there and urges him to return home. He agreed, and Lloyd and Olivia were surprised when Dylan (Ryan Wynott) wrote the equations in lipstick in the mirror.

Demetri (John Cho), Janis (Christine Woods), and Simon (Dominic Monaghan) head to NLAP to try to stop the next blackout going on, as well as discover who's behind it all. Demetri is worried, as in Janis' flashforward she has received a sonogram, and Janis starts experiencing cramps. Janis creates a diversion for security, allowing Demetri and Simon to enter NLAP undetected. Simon copies the contents of the computer to a flash drive. At the hospital, Janis has her sonogram exactly as she saw in her flash, but this time the baby is a boy and not a girl.

In Afghanistan, Aaron (Bran F. O'Byrne) mourned Tracy's death (Genevieve Cortese), but Kahmir (Dominic Rains) revived Tracy, re-creating what Harun had seen quickly.

Bryce (Zachary Knighton) discovers Keiko (Y? Ko Takeuchi) has left when he arrives at the detention center, and he heads to a sushi restaurant to wait for him. Bryce apologizes to Nicole (Peyton List), tells her that she loves Keiko, and Nicole apologizes for keeping the truth from her. At the airport, Keiko's mother creates a diversion to allow her to leave. He meets Bryce at a sushi restaurant, and both smile when they see their flashforwards come true. Meanwhile, Nicole drove and turned the way to the lake. He was saved by a pedestrian; Nicole realized what she saw in her flash drive was the man who tried to save her and did not drown her. His rescuer, Ed (Patrick J. Adams), confirms this with his own flash.

Stan (Courtney B. Vance) asks Mark (Joseph Fiennes) to be released from prison and tells him to talk to Aaron on the phone to calm him down. Mark found the FBI building being evacuated because the bomb was found in the building. Mark wanted to go to his mosaic board as he had seen in his flash; Vogel (Michael Ealy) tells him about his own flashback, that he has told other agents about Mark's death, but Mark decides to stay in. After being led outside in custody, Hellinger (Neil Jackson) nods to some inside the bomb equipment that works for him. The men wore masks and proceeded inside the building. Stan also went inside to save Mark. In NLAP, Simon sends Lloyd text to help him solve the equation. Lloyd contacted Mark, telling him that the equation produced an interval indicating that the next outage would occur within the next two days.

Mark notices Gabriel (James Callis) drew his mosaic board and changed his own to match it. He uses the instructions on the board to determine that the next outage will occur at 10:14 pm. on April 29th, another minute. Masked men enter the office. Markus ambushed some of them, then contacted Stan to warn the White House. Vogel informed another agent of Mark's inevitable death outside Olivia's house, though this time Olivia was watching this and not Charlie. In NLAP, Simon and Demetri discovered that the system had been taken over by someone from the outside and realized that another power outage would occur; Simon offers his Demetri QED ring, but Demetri decides to watch his flash this time because he has never done it before. Mark told the timer in one of the bombs and races for his office. He collapsed before he got there, because a second global outage occurred. Because a little warning, people are better prepared. Lita, wearing a QED ring, spun an unconscious Janis out of the hospital. A montage of flashforward images is displayed, some with dates indicating flashforward may occur several years in the future. Montage ends with an older Charlie saying to someone off-screen, "They found it!" before Charlie was present, along with Olivia, Lloyd, and Dylan. The FBI building was then shown exploding, probably with Mark still inside.
