reunion 2008-Now

Chris Hillman, Herb Pedersen, JayDee Maness, John Jorgenson, Bill Bryson and Steve Duncan performed their first reunion concert on August 27, 2008, at Belly Up in Solana Beach, CA. Prior to this date Chris Hillman and Herb Pedersen, as duo, joined John Jorgenson on May 2, 2008 for a small set of DRBs. The complete lineup is the best known and includes all the original members who were present on hit and single albums from the 1980s. At this event in Nashville, Hillman stated that this is the first time they played together in 19 years. They went through a series of DRB hits, but could not play "He's Back & I'm Blue" because Hillman has forgotten the words. This sold-out show prompted Hillman and the band to play several reunion shows at clubs and music festivals throughout the US. Several reunion events were recorded for inclusion in the upcoming live album. It will be the only official official album released by Desert Rose Band. However, the project was later postponed and postponed until further notice.
